The May/June issue issue of Southern Racehorse magazine is now available online by clicking here. The printed magazine is being mailed to all members of the Texas Thoroughbred Association and Thoroughbred Racing Association of Oklahoma, plus more than 1,500 horsemen and horsewomen in Louisiana and around the region. Members of the Georgia Horse Racing Coalition, North Carolina Thoroughbred Association and South Carolina Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will also receive the magazine.
This issue features an article on Wes Melcher’s Double Infinity Ranch in Texas, a look at the long history and tradition of the Thoroughbred industry in South Carolina, a recap of the spring stakes at Lone Star Park and Will Rogers Downs, advice on nutrition for young racehorses, and how knowing the sex of a foal in advance can be useful to breeders. As always, the issue also includes sales news, stallion updates and important information for members of the Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina associations.
If you not a subscriber or a member of the Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, North Carolina or South Carolina associations, you can get a full year of the magazine (six issues plus the Stallion Register) for only $39 at www.americanracehorse.com/subscribe.
