Beautiful Devil, a pure White Thoroughbred, won in her second career start at Belterra Park in Ohio on Saturday. The 3-year-old filly pressed the pace from the onset of the 5 ½-furlong race with leading rider Perry Ouzts in the saddle. Darting to the rail coming out of the turn, she repulsed a bid by Emotional Love and drew off to win by 1 ½ lengths.

She is by the sire Devil His Due out of Spot of Beauty – a daughter of the white mare Patchen Beauty and granddaughter of the white foundation mare Precious Beauty. Beautiful Devil is owned and was bred by Patchen Wilkes Farm LLC, who are legendary for producing horses of this rare color. Beautiful Devil is trained by William Connelly and returned $24.60 to win for her backers.
