Mister Lucky Cat, Son of Storm Cat, to Stand at WestWin Farms in Oklahoma

Mister Lucky Cat, a son of Storm Cat from the family of champion Rhythm, will stand the 2020 breeding season at Bryan Hawk’s WestWin Farms in Purcell, Oklahoma. He will stand for a fee of $1,000.

Mister Lucky Cat was a $650,000 yearling who was a winner on dirt and turf in a racing career cut short by a trailer accident. He is by leading stallion and noted sire of sires Storm Cat out of Grade 3-winning Mr. Prospector mare Get Lucky. That mare has produced Grade 1 winner Girolamo, Grade 2 winner Daydreaming and Grade 3 winner Accelerator, in addition to Supercharger, the dam of Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Super Saver. Got Lucky is a full sister to champion 2-year-old colt, Travers Stakes (G1) winner and successful sire Rhythm.

From a limited number of starters, Mister Lucky Cat is the sire of Starling, winner of the Oklahoma Classics Juvenile last year, and Criminal, a three-time winner and stakes placed earner of $66,734.
