More than 60 head have been consigned to the Indiana Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association Fall Sale set for Sunday, October 15, at 2 p.m. at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino. The catalog is online at www.itobasales.com. The mixed sale includes yearlings, broodmares and horses of racing age.
ITOBA is pleased to announce the addition of several bonus incentives for this sale, including:
- $1,000 Indiana Grand casino cash to both the consignor and buyer of the highest selling horse.
- $500 Indiana Grand casino cash awarded in a drawing among consignors and registered bidders.
- $500 credit to the 2018 ITBOA Stallion Season Auction to be awarded in a drawing.
Many of the sale entrants are eligible to be nominated to the ITOBA Stallion Season Auction Stakes, and horsemen are reminded of the November 1 payment deadline for the 2018, 2019 and 2020 editions of the stakes, which will offer divisions for colts/geldings and fillies at $75,000 apiece.
