Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 170 yearlings for its sale at Lone Star Park, Grand Prairie, Texas, on Monday August 27. The sale will get underway at approximately 5:00 p.m. and will be preceded by a short reception in the sales pavilion to highlight the new evening sale format, hosted jointly by Lone Star Park and Fasig-Tipton.
This year’s catalogue features six recent stakes-winning graduates of the Texas Summer Sale. On the front cover is the very consistent mare Speedacious, who has won or placed in stakes in each of her four racing seasons to date and has earned over $560,000.
“It’s an exciting and varied catalogue,” commented Texas director of sales Tim Boyce. “With yearlings from Texas and a number of neighboring states with strong racing programs.
“Several of our sires are young, national leaders from Kentucky – Bluegrass Cat, Corinthian, English Channel, Hard Spun, Harlan’s Holiday and Scat Daddy among them,” Boyce added.
