Saratoga ended a memorable summer meet on Labor Day. Later in the week Belmont is starting the fall meet on Friday, September 6.
The fall meet is short this season with the beginning of the construction for the new arena for the New York Islanders that will be adjacent to the track.
The meet will end Sunday, October 6. NYRA will then finish the Belmont fall meet October 11-October 27 at Aqueduct. On November 1 the regular fall meet at Aqueduct will commence.
Weekday racing at the abbreviated fall meet at Belmont will start at 3pm. Weekend racing will be at 1pm.
Except opening weekend, the Breakfast at Belmont will be held for the month of September. The weekends are 14-15, 21-22 and 28-29. It starts at 8:00 am and ends at 9:30 am.
