TOO MUCH BLING

Rubiano – Rose Colored Lady, by Formal Dinner

Texas’ leading stallion since 2013 and a top national sire with 14% SW/starters!

TOO MUCH BLING is among the most prolific sires of stakes horses in North America with a remarkable 14 percent stakes winners and 23 percent stakes horses. Among his recent stakes winners are BLING ON THE MUSIC, the $95,000 sale topper at the Texas 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale who won two stakes and placed in a Grade 2 at Churchill Downs and then sold for $260,000 as a broodmare; DIRECT DIAL, a six-time stakes winner, 2018 Texas Horse of the Year and earner of more than $360,000; BUBBA BLING, a first-out maiden winner at Churchill, Texas Stallion Stakes winner and 2019 Texas Co-Champion 2-Year-Old Colt/Gelding; and champion and multiple graded stakes winner TOO MUCH TIP.

His horses run early and they run fast – 10 percent of his 2yo starters are stakes winners and 20 percent are stakes horses. They also run for a long time – SAM SPARKLE (71 starts, $509,013), TEXAS BLING (39 starts, $406,072), BLAZING BLING (43 starts, $383,535), Blings Express (83 starts, $518,898), etc.

A three-time graded stakes winner and Grade 1-placed runner, TOO MUCH BLING won five of 11 starts and hit the board three other times while racing almost exclusively against graded stakes foes. He broke his maiden by an incredible 19 1/2 lengths.

TOO MUCH BLING sired a $60,000 Texas-bred yearling colt at the 2019 Texas Summer Yearling Sale. He has had several $100,000 yearlings in the past few years!
