Too Much Bling – American Racehorse Stallion Register

Rubiano – Rose Colored Lady, by Formal Dinner

Texas’ leading stallion since 2013 and a top national sire with 15% SW/starters!

TOO MUCH BLING is among the most prolific sires of stakes horses in North America with a remarkable 15 percent stakes winners and 25 percent stakes horses. Among his recent stakes winners are BLING ON THE MUSIC, the $95,000 sale topper at the Texas 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale who won two stakes and placed in a Grade 2 at Churchill Downs and then sold for $260,000 as a broodmare; DIRECT DIAL, runner-up in the Tremont Stakes at Belmont Park and three-time Texas Stallion Stakes winner; RUMPOLE, a winner of three stakes in his first seven starts; and champion and multiple graded stakes winner TOO MUCH TIP.

His horses run early and they run fast – 10 percent of his 2yo starters are stakes winners and 21 percent are stakes horses. They also run for a long time – SAM SPARKLE (71 starts, $509,013), TEXAS BLING (39 starts, $406,072), BLAZING BLING (43 starts, $383,535), Blings Express (78 starts, $502,478), etc.

A three-time graded stakes winner and Grade 1-placed runner, TOO MUCH BLING won five of 11 starts and hit the board three other times while racing almost exclusively against graded stakes foes. He broke his maiden by an incredible 19 1/2 lengths.

TOO MUCH BLING sired two $100,000 yearlings at the 2017 Texas Summer Yearling Sale, one filly and one colt, and both were Texas-breds!
