Special Rate

(from news release)
Special Rate, one of the leading sires in Texas, has been moved to Glasses Creek Ranch in Madill, Oklahoma, for the 2016 breeding season.

A stakes-winning son of Pulpit, Special Rate is out of the stakes-winning and two-time Grade 1 producing mare Viviana. Considered by many to possess one of the deepest and richest pedigrees of any son of Pulpit at stud, Special Rate is producing runners that are finding success on the dirt or turf, going long and short. He is represented in 2015 by multiple stakes winner Special U F O, who owns the track record at Retama Park for 1 1/16 on the turf.

Glasses Creek Ranch is owned by Leslie and Jinger Clemmer. Comprised of 125 rolling acres, Glasses Creek has a six stall stallion barn, an 18 stall main barn and a 20 stall mare motel.

“We’re excited to have the opportunity to stand Special Rate and be part of building onto his outstanding career. We will be strongly supporting Special Rate, as will many of our clients,” said Leslie Clemmer.

Owned by a syndicate, Special Rate formerly stood at Stoneview Farm. His 2016 stud fee is $3,000 LFSN. For more information, please contact Jessica Keller at Glasses Creek Ranch at 580-795-3940, glassescreek@hotmail.com or www.glassescreek.com.
