Oklahoma-breds Set Pace in Fasig-Tipton Texas Under Tack Show

fasig logoThe under tack show for the Fasig-Tiption Texas 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale was held Sunday at Lone Star Park near Dallas and a pair of Oklahoma-breds put up the fastest times. The auction, which has a catalogue of 123 head including horses of racing age, is set for Tuesday at the Texas Thoroughbred Sales Pavilion on the grounds of Lone Star Park.

Among the horses working an eighth-mile, Hip 77, an Oklahoma-bred daughter of Diamond, posted the fasting clocking of :10 flat. Consigned by Inside Move Inc., agent, the bay filly is out of a Johannesburg mare who is a half sister to multiple stakes placed Runaway Magic.

An Oklahoma-bred filly by The Visualiser worked a quarter-mile in :22 2/5 for the fastest time at that distance. Hip 23, named Vizzy and consigned by Brody Veal, agent, is a half sister to stakes winner Lord Kipling, an 11-time winner with earnings of more than $432,000.
